​There are a couple of pH themes: students can investigate

  • the pH of household detergents (body wash, bar soap, washing liquid & powder). Our skin has a pH of 5.5. How does this compare to the detergents we use on our skin?

  • the pH of beverages (Kombucha, energy drinks, fruit tea, carbonated water). Acidic drinks are not good for our teeth. Which drinks should we be choosing to drink?
