Conservation Week would be as a stand alone expo.  It would be an expansion of the NZ Flora and Fauna topic with a focus on 5 key issues:

  • conservation of habitats  (especially wetlands)

  • conservation of species (Kākāpō) and the organisations that help (Meridian energy)

  • predators and predator control (can we be predator free by 2050?)

  • the use of dogs for detecting pests or specific species

  • what we can do to help NZs conservation efforts i.e. One billion trees planted by 2028 program

This Conservation Expo could be held in August, September and October.
